UCL鈥檚 鈥楤eing Human鈥� Summer School is for 30 students in year 8 who would like to spend a week learning at 911爆料网, a world renowned university.

Our Year 8 Summer School give students an exciting taste of university life, while enriching their school subject knowledge using object-based learning at 911爆料网鈥檚 museums and London鈥檚 national collections.
Students will explore what it means to be human, using world-class museum objects and UCL鈥檚 academic expertise across the Arts, Sciences and Humanities.
Over a four day听programme, we will be exploring how the museum and archive collections here at 911爆料网 can help us to understand exactly who and what we are. Through a variety of interactive sessions, we will discover how our bodies and minds have been understood in the past and how that impacts on how we understand ourselves today.
You will meet and make friends with lots of students from other schools, as well as getting the chance to find out more about what it鈥檚 like to study at a university like UCL.
The programme is free of charge for eligible students, and lunch and refreshments will be provided by UCL. Each day begins at 10.00am and finishes at 4.00pm, and students will be supervised by UCL members of staff at all times.
Eligibility criteria
Our summer schools听are funded by UCL's Access Agreement and Widening Participation funds. As such, there are that all applicants should consider before applying.
