Grace Lawrence featured on ABC Radio National’s “Science Show”

Cosmoparticle Initiative postdoc Grace Lawrence interviewed for Australian national radio.

This episode focussed on Dark Matter search at 911. Grace explained how astrophysicists and particle physicists are working together to discover dark matter, and also discussed the based in South Australia. In a wide-ranging interview, presenter Robyn Williams asked Grace about WIMPs (Weakly Interacting Massive Particles), Einstein, supercomputer simulations and galaxies. Grace also reflected on her experience of UCL’s research community.

Grace Lawrence is an alumnus from Swinburne University (Melbourne, Australia). She took up a postdoctoral position at the UCL Cosmoparticle Initiative in 2023, working with Andrew Pontzen’s GMGalaxies team.
