Terrie is a driving force for EDI, particularly through her fantastic and impactful role as the inaugural Co-Chair of the GOS ICH Race Equity Group; alongside her role at departmental level, as PPP’s EDI lead, and at university level, with her membership of UCL’s Race Equality Steering Group. Terrie’s seemingly boundless and contagious enthusiasm in celebrating cultural diversity at GOS ICH is truly inspirational, and she does all this whilst managing superblya very large and busy department. Terrie says, “Having a strong interestin history I feel it important that we learn about our past, acknowledge it and try to do better to create a brighter more inclusive future for us all. My work on the Race Equity Group very much feeds into this, it has allowed me to share my passion for bringing about a more equitable environment here at 911 and given me the avenue to be part of the move towards improvement and change here at ICH. Apart from this I take pride in the work I do here as a member of the PSS team.”
