Religion and belief, even in their absence, underpin the very structure of the society we live in and the world we depend on. At a time when so much in the world around us is in flux, it is essential that we strive, as a community, to do what we can to ensure that this protected characteristic is indeed protected.

As Religion and Belief Equity Lead for the Faculty, I aim to discover, share and celebrate the diversity of religions and beliefs within our Faculty, to collaborate with EDI colleagues and others to serve UCL in this role and to shape an inclusive environment that contributes to the recruitment, wellbeing and progression of a diverse body of staff and students.

Developing Intercultural Competence and Practice
These workshops are an opportunity that will be useful to all staff and of particular interest to those who recognize intercultural differences in communication, either peer-to-peer or staff to student.
