Partnerships

The Division of Biosciences has established a number of partnerships with external organisations. The overarching aim of these collaborations is to share the knowledge of our academics and students and to strengthen the impact of our research in the 'real world.'Ìý

The Rosalind Franklin Institute is a new national institute dedicated to bringing about transformative changes in life science through interdisciplinary research and technology development. UCL is a partner organisation with researchers in Biosciences likely to both contribute to and benefit from RFI resources.

The Francis Crick Institute was founded through an between the Medical Research Council, Cancer Research UK, Wellcome, UCL and two other London Universities Imperial College London and King's College London.

The Museum, with its vast collections and innovative research programme, is a leading science research centre as well as world-class visitor attraction. The Museum's primary aim is to challenge the way people think about the natural world.

The ISMB is a partnership between the Research Department of Structural and Molecular Biology and the Department of Biology from Birkbeck College.

IoZ is affiliated with the UCL Department of Genetics, Evolution and Environment and Institute of Zoology staff have honorary status within the UCL Division of Biosciences.

Kew is a global resource for plant and fungal knowledge. With over 8.5 million items, Kew houses the largest and most diverse botanical and mycological collections in the world.
