RMIT Design Hub hosts Alisa Andrasek and Bloom

Bartlett MArch GAD Programme Leader Alisa Andrasek, is to be a special guest of Design Hub at the RMIT School of Architecture and Design in Melbourne this August. Her interactive installation Bloom will be on show in conjunction with , an exhibition touring from the London Design Museum.
Bloom, described as an urban toy, a social game and collective ‘gardening’ experience, was first installed in London, as part of the capital’s city-wide celebration during the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics. Designed and developed by Andrasek and Jose Sanchez, Bloom will be on show in Project Room 3, Level 3 at the RMIT Design Hub from 28 August to 11 October 2014.
The Future is Here will be accompanied by a programme of associated talks and workshops, including an opportunity for local Melbourne design firms to come and play with Bloom. Andrasek will lead a panel discussion on Friday 29 August 6 - 8pm at the Multi-Purpose Room, Level 1, RMIT Design Hub,Ìý
