This module introduces students to archaeological, anthropological and museological approaches to violent conflict in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.
The principal focus will be on contested representations and memories of modern conflict, and the impact and value of archaeological research in conflict and post-conflict environments.Ìý The module will focus on theoretical and methodological approaches, while drawing on a wide range of relevant materials and case studies from around the world.
