Research Fellowships
We support a number of strong candidates in applying for Research Fellowships. If your profile and interests match our activities, we would be very interested to hear from you.
- When to apply
To allow time both for preparation and proper costing of the proposal, you must apply at least 20 working days before the deadline. All Fellowship proposals will be reviewed by a member of our academic staff as part of the submission process. Each Fellowship has a different deadline, and these dates will be published on the relevant websites (see links below).
- How to apply
Before applying, you must initially contact either the Head of Division or the Head of the Research Department where your interest lies.Â
- Pay
You will need to agree your pay scale with your departmental sponsor. The lowest grade a Fellow can be costed at is Grade 7, Point 29 and it is normal that there is an additional spine point for every year of postdoctoral experience you have. So for a Fellow with one year of postdoctoral experience at the beginning of the Fellowship it will be grade 7, point 30. UCL pay scales can be found on .
