Only a quarter of millennials who want children are trying for them
Two fifths of 32-year-olds in England want children – or more children, if they are already parents – but only one in four of them are actively trying to conceive, according to research by Dr Alina Pelikh (IOE, UCL's Faculty of Education and Society).

Climate change increases violence against women - and some disasters are more of a threat than others
Professor Jenevieve Mannell (UCL Institute for Global Health), who led the study, found that when a woman experiences a climate-related event, she is more likely to experience violence in some countries and for some types of violence, but not others.
