911±¬ÁÏÍøews review 2011
22 December 2011
UCL Communications has created the 911±¬ÁÏÍøews review 2011, a digital summary of the university's achievements and activities over the past year.
It features a wall of images representing standout moments from throughout 2011, each of which takes users to a relevant news story, video, blog, sound file or photo collection.
The interactive review highlights the diversity of the UCL community's events and developments. It features stories including Professor Noam Chomsky's Rickman Godlee lecture, a Queen's Anniversary Prize for the Institute of Ophthalmology, a landmark larynx transplant and simulated missions to Mars.
The
review demonstrates various platforms for keeping abreast of the
university's news, including the Events blog, launched this year, several
social media channels, as well as UCL news and headlines. It also includes a link where users can find out about the range of ways to follow UCL news.
The review can be featured on individual web pages by using the embed code found at the base of the image wall.
