Before starting my PhD at the CDT, I graduated with an MSci in Physics from here, the University College London. My Master's thesis involved parametrically constraining Beyond Standard Model theories using past LHC measurements, without explicit rigorous analysis. When it came to choosing my PhD, the CDT in Data Intensive Science offered a unique opportunity of continuing my High Energy Physics research while also building my data analysis and machine learning skills and providing me with work experience in industry. I work on various projects under the supervision of Dr. Gabriel Facini, including decorrelating the mass variable from the X->bb tagger using adversarial neural networks and optimising CPU timing of particle tracking in ATLAS Inner Detector, among others.Ìý
