This thematic module explores current issues and debates in the archaeology of the Nile valley, i.e. Egypt and Sudan.ÌýFocusing on archaeological evidence and case studies from the periods between 3000 BC and 1000 AD, topics include:
- chronology
- kingship
- approaches to past landscapes
- everyday life
- religious practices
- mortuary practices
- identity
- critical history of research.
